Yesterday at 10:45 my local news channel fox 5 news in new york city did a story on it and called it a PS3 MELTDOWN. THey said over 40 million ps3's globally stopped working and that sony twitter saying dont turn on the ps3.
They were concerned with losing trophies and data and that was it. Never did the reporters say : Oh Errr, nevermind The Ps3 Fixed itself.

Believe it or not but everyone is competing with the ps2.
ps2 is number 1 in the current market and has been for more than a decade. 360fans like to hold on to a years headstart ignoring the 10 year headstart of the ps2. the wii is after the ps2 but has a long way to go and most likely will be discontinued before ps2 is off the market.
If you have both systems thats more power to you.
I have a budget and im a penny pincher. I examine my wants and my needs and i go for value which is why i chose the ps3 over the 360.
of course i had a 360 a few times but lets just say they didnt survive my gaming schedule.
